I got to know Arlie in school and later moved down the block from her. She had a little boy and so did we. Her then husband worked at General Hosp. and they split. I met up with her when I was home on leave from the Service. She was going through a rough time and was trying to get her life back on track. She will surely be missed!!.......jack
Arlie was a great friend in our sophomore year. She had a very loving and giving spirit and had so much potential. I was at her house once and knew it was pretty rough for her there, and it made me realize my home, even being raised by a single Mom, was far more secure than what she had to deal with. I know it was very hard for her to have children so very young and I tried to be supportive even though we didn't see much of each other after that. I know nothing about her death and it came as a surprise, but I know she is in a much better place and I still think of her often, as that innocent young 15 year old girl that had to grow up much too fast. God be with you Arlie. Sandy
I noticed also that Arlie must have passed away fairly recently. On Classmates.com it showed that she had been on site there on 2/21/08. Very young to leave the class.
